Collecterie collects only what it needs to provide private collection tools, keep accounts secure, and manage launch updates.

What Collecterie collects

When you create an account, Collecterie stores your email address, display name, a securely hashed password, account and session identifiers, and verification or password-reset records. When you use the app, Collecterie stores the collection information you choose to add, including Library and Wishlist items, notes, themes, sentiments, matching-item details, favorites, finished projects, Collette questions and conversations, and photos you upload.

When you join the waitlist, Collecterie stores your email address, signup time, signup source, referrer, and campaign tags when they are present. Technical details such as IP address and user agent may also be processed by the website host, API, or security tools to keep Collecterie working and prevent abuse.

How Collecterie uses it

Collecterie uses account and collection information to sign you in, save and organize your private collection, provide collection-aware suggestions, support photo-assisted item entry, and help you use the app. Photos or questions submitted for optional Collette analysis may be processed by service providers solely to return the requested result. Collecterie uses waitlist information to send launch and product updates, prevent duplicate signups, and understand where interest is coming from.

Collecterie does not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Where it lives

Collecterie's website and API are hosted on IIS, account and collection records use SQL Server, and uploaded photos are kept in private app-controlled storage. Hosting, security, email, and optional analysis providers may process the information needed to deliver those services. Data is encrypted in transit.

Your choices

You choose what collection details and photos to add, and you can edit or delete individual items and projects in the app. You can ask to update or remove waitlist information by contacting Collecterie.

Delete your account

You can request deletion of your Collecterie account and associated data through the account deletion page. We may ask you to verify control of the account email before deletion.
